For any shore excursion in Scotland, preparation is key to enjoying your adventure comfortably. Our weather is famously changeable, so checking the forecast and dressing in layers is essential:
- Light base layer
- Sweater or fleece
- Waterproof jacket
Comfortable shoes are also a must, as many destinations feature cobbled streets, rugged trails, or castle grounds that require footwear capable of handling different types of uneven surface.
While many places accept cards, having a bit of cash on hand can be helpful.
A small backpack is useful for carrying essentials like snacks, extra clothing, and any souvenirs you may pick up along the way.

Excursion length: Tailored to your chosen itinerary and cruise ship's schedule, allowing sufficient time for a comfortable return to port.
Activity level: Varies depending on your chosen destinations and activities. Please let us know about any mobility requirements when enquiring.
Group size: We can accommodate couples, families and larger private groups, with suitable vehicles and arrangements tailored to your requirements.
Driver-guide: An experienced local driver-guide will accompany you throughout your private excursion.
Customised itinerary: We'll work with you to create an itinerary based on your interests, preferred destinations and the time available during your port visit.
Attraction admissions: Entrance fees, guided experiences and other activities can be incorporated into your itinerary, subject to availability. Any additional costs will be clearly outlined in your quotation.
Lunch: Time for lunch can be included in your itinerary. Food and drinks are not included unless specifically stated in your quotation.
Pricing: Each excursion is individually quoted based on group size, duration, travelling distances and your chosen experiences.
Shore Excursion Guarantee: Your itinerary will be planned around your cruise ship's schedule, with a return to port at least one hour before your ship's all-aboard time.
Children: Children are welcome. Please provide their ages when enquiring so suitable child or booster seats can be arranged where required.
Accessibility: Collapsible wheelchairs and mobility aids can be accommodated in the vehicle, provided guests can board and exit independently. Please discuss any accessibility requirements with us before booking.
