Your day begins with a visit to The Kelpies, two magnificent 30-metre (98-foot) steel sculptures inspired by the mythical water horses of Scottish folklore. Standing beside the Forth & Clyde Canal, these impressive landmarks celebrate Scotland’s industrial heritage and provide a fantastic opportunity for photographs.

Next, discover Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most important historic landmarks and former royal residences. Perched high above the surrounding countryside, the castle played a central role in Scotland’s history and was once home to Scottish kings and queens, including Mary, Queen of Scots. Explore its magnificent Great Hall, Royal Palace, historic courtyards and impressive ramparts while enjoying panoramic views across the surrounding landscape.

After time for lunch, we’ll introduce you to some of Scotland’s most beloved residents, the Highland cows, affectionately known as Highland coos. Enjoy the opportunity to meet these iconic animals, feed them and capture some memorable photographs during your day ashore.

Our final stop takes us to Luss, a picturesque village on the shores of Loch Lomond, within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Wander through its charming streets lined with traditional stone cottages, enjoy views across Scotland’s largest freshwater loch by surface area and take in the peaceful surroundings before beginning the journey back to Greenock.

At the end of your excursion, your private driver-guide will return you directly to Greenock Cruise Terminal, bringing your day exploring Scotland’s history, culture and beautiful landscapes to a relaxed conclusion.

If there’s somewhere you’d particularly like to spend more time, or a stop you’re less interested in, your driver-guide can adjust the pace where possible.
