From Greenock - The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

Join us for a very special evening as we travel from Greenock Port to experience the world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, set against the dramatic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.

This internationally celebrated event is a highlight of Scotland’s summer calendar—combining music, military precision, dance, and storytelling in an unforgettable open-air performance. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Tattoo and features a powerful new theme: “The Heroes Who Made Us.” The show pays tribute to the individuals—past and present—who inspire, protect, and unite us.

Expect stirring performances from across the globe, including the United States Air Force Band, showcasing American pride and musical excellence, and the high-impact Top Secret Drum Corps from Switzerland, renowned for their dazzling choreography and percussive energy. From massed pipes and drums to Highland dancing and emotive storytelling, this year’s show promises to be both moving and exhilarating.

Your side-stand ticket is included, offering excellent views of the full 90-minute performance. The evening culminates with one of the most iconic sights in Scotland—a lone piper silhouetted on the castle ramparts, his haunting tune closing the show in unforgettable style.

We’ll collect you from the cruise terminal in Greenock in the early evening and travel east to Edinburgh in a comfortable vehicle. On arrival, you’ll be dropped close to the Castle Esplanade, with plenty of time to take your seat before the performance begins. After the show, your driver will be waiting nearby to take you straight back to the ship. The return journey is direct and timed to ensure you’re back on board with time to spare.
